The Isle of Arran, one of the inner Hebrides, which,  together with it's smaller sidekick, the Isle of Bute, was historically the island playground, of Glaswegians.

The first time I visited Arran I was disappointed not to get any good photos of this part of the island, so I returned again shortly after and the weather really helped me out that time. This is Kildonan Bay, on the Isle of Arran! For such a small place (on the map) it has a huge personality! So I gave it a large 80cm x 80cm canvas to match.

Don't you feel you could just walk into the picture and feel the cool freshness of the sea breeze, and then wander further along the shore and peer into the croft houses nestling in the shelter of that dark forested hill? I hope so!
