Another wonderful spot on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides! This was the view that greeted me shortly after disembarking on the island for my third wonderful visit. We had almost arrived at the cottage that we'd rented for the entire week, and believe it or not, it was February! Here, we are still about ten minutes away from that most famous Luskentyre Beach which you will find featuring in the art of so many Scottish painters! It really is magnificent, and one of those places to make a point of visiting when visiting the West Coast and the Islands. If you are really lucky, and walk quietly, you might catch a glimpse of the two grey horses that seem to live on the sand dunes. Well, there were two when I last visited but there may be more now!
